Tassels.

I just wanted to share this.Normally for silk sarees the tassels are already there or they make it and give when we purchase it.But for ordinary silk there is no tassels at all.So I make this myself at home.

And I finished it in 15 min.

Wow Mam, It is really wonderful. I have 2 sarees for which there are no tussels because the blouse was on pallu side and the shop ppl dint do it at that time.
I am planning by buying same color silk thread and do it.
I know one method where we make a long strands(say 4-5") of threads and stitch then in a loop with the saree and wind golden color metallic thread on the top of the
tussel to give shape. But in yours you have used the silk strands from the saree itself right?
How did you remove those horizontal threads? Did it not damage the other threads?
Great Job and so neat.!!
